Mediation Terms & Conditions

Mediation is undertaken under specific terms. Prior to the first joint mediation meeting, you will be asked to sign a document as an indication of your commitment to the process and of your agreement to the terms set out in it.

Mediation time and cost

Mediation sessions generally last 1 1/2 hours each. The number of sessions will depend on the issues: 5 or 6 sessions are not uncommon, but more or less may be needed. They may take place at approximately fortnightly intervals or as otherwise agreed.

Our charges for mediation sessions and for interim work (including for example drafting summaries) are £190 per hour plus VAT (£223.25 inclusive of VAT) shared equally between the couple or as otherwise agreed.

These fees are payable at the end of each session.

Clients may be eligible for publicly funded mediation through the services contract with the Legal Services Commission. This may mean that mediation is at no charge to either or both of the clients to the service. We will provide details on request.

We take your privacy very seriously. We will always take all necessary steps to ensure that your data is protected and used only for the purposes that we have stated.

Personal Data given on the referal form will be used soley for the purpose of providing you with mediation services.

By submitting your email address and personal details to us, you agree to allow us to use this information to communicate any facts which may be pertinent to your dealings with us.

We will not use your email address or other personal data to send unsolicited marketing material for any purpose.

We will not pass your email address or other personal data to any third party without your express consent.

We may track the domains from which people visit this site and analyze this data for trends and statistics. The personal details of site visitors are not recorded except where expressly stated.
